London Fabric saved from threat of closure
Nightclub will hire seven £300-a-night sniffer dogs after a court ruling.

London Fabric will not be forced to close its doors, it’s been confirmed, following fears that it would shut down due to a series of drug-related incidents.
The central London nightclub been told to make changes to its drug policy, in response to two recent MDMA-related deaths.
In all conditions are agreed upon, Fabric will become the first London club to hire sniffer dogs on a regular basis - costing £300 for a 4-hour shift, the venue has agreed to hire seven per night.
“They will need seven dogs per night because they can only work for a certain number of hours,” said the club’s solicitor, Paddy Whur.
Owners of the club - Cameron Leslie and Keith Reilly - have said however that they will fight the decision.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, the bosses stated that they “fundamentally disagree on a number of key points”, saying “in 15 years we have had six million people come through the doors and sadly there have been four deaths.”
