London’s 12 Bar is reopening in a new location
The venue shuts this week but will relocate to North London.

London’s 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street is set to close this week, but not for long as The Islington Tribune has reported that the venue is set to relocate to North London. The new premises for the bar will open on Holloway Road at Phibbers Pub, with manager Andy Lowe stating:
“There will be lots of teething troubles as it is such a new and different environment in every sense but it is an area that does have music venues, some of which do well and some not so well. Buffalo Bar used to be just down the road from our new place and that was great. There is a large student demographic in the area so there is a lot of potential there, as some venues have been well sustained around here, but others have not.”
A petition was set up on change.org to save the venue with notable signatures coming from Pete Townshend from the Who. Considered an integral spot for unsigned and upcoming artists, 12 Bar Club has played residence to The Libertines, Adele and Jeff Buckley.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
