Low Announce New Album, ‘The Invisible Way’

The record has been produced by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco.

Low have announced details of a new album, set for release in early 2013.

The record has been produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy, who the band originally met up with while on tour in Chicago.

Titled ‘The Invisible Way’, it will be released on 18th March in the UK (and 19th March Stateside) via Sub Pop.

The album is said by Alan Sparhawk to be ‘about intimacy, the drug war, the class war, plain old war war, archaeology and love’. Five of the record’s eleven tracks feature drummer/vocalist Mimi Parker on lead vocals.

A trailer for the record can be seen below.

They’ll also be returning to the UK in April following the album’s release to play the following dates:

APRIL
24 Birmingham Glee Club
25 Manchester Central Methodist Hall
26 Gateshead Sage
27 Glasgow Classic Grand
29 Bristol Trinity
30 London Barbican
