Loyle Carner gets jazzy in ‘Damselfly’ featuring pal Tom Misch
The DIY cover star releases his debut album on 20th January.
Loyle Carner - who fronts the Class of 2017 issue of DIY - is readying his debut album ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ for release on 20th of January, and in the meantime, he’s treated us to another preview of things to come.
‘Damselfly’ - peppered by jazzy licks, typically reflective verses, and the saucy vocals of Loyle’s pal Tom Misch - shows yet another side to the versatile rising talent. Loyle even, in ultimate star style, namechecks his own song ‘Ain’t Nothing Changed’ at one point.
Read our Loyle Carner cover feature here, and listen to the really very excellent ‘Damselfly’ below.
