Very recently, M.I.A. celebrated 10 years since she released her album ‘Kala’, but recently she’s also been sharing a string of tracks.
In June, before curating her Meltdown Festival, she unveiled ‘GOALS’, and not too long after she then dropped a video for ‘Finally’, where she mixed up the desert with florals and a bunch of dancers. A little while back, she also previewed another brand new track via Persicope – and lo and behold, she’s now shared the full version.
Her latest tune ‘Load ‘Em’ features vocals from Jamaican dancehall singjay Dexta Daps, and its accompanying video also shows off some old live footage from some of M.I.A.’s gigs. There’s jumpsuits, jailbars, ying yangs and flashing lights aplenty. What more could you want?
Watch the video for ‘Load ‘Em’ below.
