Stormzy and Jamie xx have also been announced for the Gothenburg festival.
M83 has been confirmed to play at next year’s Way Out West festival, heating up rumours that Anthony Gonzalez et al will be returning with new music in 2016.
Alongside M83, the likes of Chvrches, Jamie xx, Anna von Hausswolff and Stormzy have also been confirmed to appear at the weekender.
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Way Out West will take place in the city’s Slottsskogen Park from Thursday 11th - Saturday 13th August 2016.
Speaking of the 2016 edition of the fest, Way Out West organiser Ola Broqvist has said: “We’re so excited to present our tenth addition of Way Out West festival in 2016. Our ambitions are to continuously programme a line up that presents the most exciting acts of the moment alongside heritage artists who have made history over the years. With our tenth birthday in our midst we will continue to push the boundaries across the music and film programme, whilst also taking positive steps to preserve the world that we live in.”
Tickets are on sale now from the festival’s official website priced at around £168 for the full weekend.
