M83, Underworld and Baxter Dury added to Cala Mijas Festival 2023
The event takes place on the Costa Del Sol from 31st August.
The final wave of names have been announced for this year’s Cala Mijas Festival. The event, which takes place in the town of Mijas, near Malaga, from 31st August to 2nd September.
New names on the bill include M83, Underworld and Baxter Dury.
They join the previously announced headliners Arcade Fire, The Strokes and Florence + the Machine, as well as Foals, Idles, Belle & Sebastian, Metronomy and Amyl & the Sniffers.
This year marks the second edition of Cala Mijas. The inaugural event in 2022 featured headline performances from Arctic Monkeys, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and Liam Gallagher.
French electronic group M83 released their ninth album ’Fantasy’ in March this year, while Baxter Dury’s new album ’I Thought I Was Better Than You’ came out in June.
