Mabel announces Right On Time UK/EU tour with new single ‘Love Me Gentle’

Pop stalwart Mabel has shared the news that she’ll be hitting the road this November for a run of seven intimate shows in the UK and Europe, which she’s playing in support of her forthcoming self-titled mixtape (due out on 25th July via Polydor Records).

These limited-capacity gigs - dubbed the Right On Time tour - are intended to reflect the personal nature of her new project, and will offer fans the chance to experience a Mabel headline set for the first time since 2020. Kicking off in Bristol on 3rd November, the tour will see the star make stops in Manchester, London, Stockholm, Berlin, and Amsterdam, before concluding proceedings with a show in Paris on 27th November.

Tickets will be available via presale from 10am on Wednesday 9th July, while general sale will open at 10am on Friday 11th July. 

What’s more, to celebrate the tour announcement, Mabel has also dropped a brand new single entitled ‘Love Me Gentle’. Explaining more about the track, she has shared: “It’s about in general how I wish people would think before judging someone and this song is my plea to be more gentle when it comes to how we treat each other.” 

Of the nine-track project overall, Mabel notes: “It’s really important to me with this project that people know that this is where I’m at now and I wanted it to come out without too much overthinking. It’s a blend of all the genres and cultures that make me who I am and I would say it’s beautiful organised chaos. 

“It doesn’t have to make sense to everyone and I think it’s the first time in a long time I’ve been this unfiltered. There’s both a simplicity and a depth to the music that I love, in a way I just wrote it without too much thought but afterwards I realised it’s kind of a toxic love letter to my 10 years in the industry.”
