Mac DeMarco buys a rowboat, performs ‘No Other Heart’ in it

Despite assuring DIY in our latest issue that he’s “reeled it in a little bit”, it seems Mac DeMarco’s oddball side might still prevail - for his birthday he shunned cake, cards and relatives, and instead “drove to upstate New York… and bought a boat off this old guy.” Obviously.

Said boat can be seen below, in a new session recorded for NPR. Mac performs ‘No Other Heart’ cross-legged in the vessel - which apparently has a sail that he can’t figure out how to put up. The video also features a sweet keyboard solo to close.
