Booking now Mac DeMarco has started his own record label
He’s also off on his first ever solo tour!
Mac DeMarco has started his own record label! We’re surprised it’s taken this long, to be honest, but it’s here, and it’s called…Mac’s Record Label.
The singer had previously released his music via Captured Tracks - most recently sharing new LP ‘This Old Dog’ last year - but has now decided to go it alone.
The label’s music will be distributed internationally by Caroline.
In addition to the news, Mac has also announced details of his first ever solo tour! The ‘Purple Bobcat Next To River Tour’ will follow Mac’s upcoming European run of dates.
$1 of every ticket sold to the tour will be donated to support local Girls Rock Camps and “their work empowering girls, trans and gender-diverse young people through music education and mentorship.”
