Mad Cool invites new bands to apply to play

Mad Cool’s 2018 line up already boasts indie and rock behemoths aplenty, from Arctic Monkeys, Jack White and Wolf Alice to The Big Moon, Goat Girl and Marmozets: now they’re on the lookout for new acts to join them.

The event - in partnership with sponsor Mahou - have launched Mad Cool Talent 2018, looking for nine acts to join the massive bill in Madrid this summer.

Acts are invited to apply via madcooltalent.com, with a panel of Spanish industry bigwigs whittling them down to 50, before a public vote picks the 15 finalists, who’ll play in Madrid in front of an industry panel.

Mad Cool takes place between 12th and 14th July in the Spanish capital, with other acts set to appear including Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, MGMT and Dua Lipa.
