Truth be told, this Edinburgh duo are masters of setting the agenda - they don’t need outside assistance. With ‘Sign’, they take the same motifs of last year’s ‘The Road’, a head-turning debut single driven by momentum. The same applies here. Once they catch their first sight of gold, they chase it. Throughout the song’s five minutes, a chugged bassline sticks to the same note - it just gets backed by more and more noise, extra jolts of adrenaline every few seconds.
