Marika Hackman has shared her second new song in the space of a week with the perfectly-paced ‘Before I Sleep’.

The new song links up with ‘Animal Fear’, a spacious number that premiered on DIY last week.

Both songs are taken from Hackman’s debut album ‘We Slept At Last’, which comes produced by Charlie Andrew. It’s out 16th February on Dirty Hit.

Catch up with the DIY interview with Marika Hackman, where she details a forthcoming exhibition showcasing ‘We Slept At Last’’s cover art.

“I’m a massive control freak, and I think it’s quite important that artists are. I’ve spent so long writing the songs, getting it into the studio, making the record - it seems to strange to hand it over to someone else. I can never personally do that. And I’ve been making sure it’s exactly how I want it,” she told DIY.
