Marz Leon unveils video for new single, ‘Fire’

Marz Leon is a California-hailing newcomer who made a murky, finger-clicking introduction with her ‘L O N E R’ track last month.

Her second gambit, ‘Fire’, is a more coherent first impression. It arrives complete with a video that shows the songwriter/producer wearing a crown made up of a twisted white wire. A single shot video, it’s about as striking as they come, bringing to mind early Bat For Lashes musically and Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court’, visually.

A sleepy, near-underwater backdrop does the rest of the work. It’s a more than assured combination for someone already calling herself the “Goddess of Love.” She’s living up to the high billing.
