Meanwhile reveals new track ‘All For The Taking’, announces EP

His debut EP, ‘The Element Yes’ is due on December 1st, and meanwhile, he’s also set to support La Roux on her upcoming tour.

Few debut tracks this year have made the immediate impact of Meanwhile’s ‘Luvletta’. With more propulsion than The Prince Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known As Prince strapped onto the world’s largest firework, the praise and comparisons came in thick and fast.

Now Meanwhile’s announced his debut EP, ‘‘The Element Yes’, out via Fiction on 1st December. The first preview comes in the shape of ‘All For The Taking’, which is available as a free download. and though it’s equally infectious, it sees Meanwhile heading in a different direction. It’s sharper, more jangly-edged, and bears similarities to Phoenix, more than anything else.

As well as an EP, Meanwhile’s also playing a headline show at London’s Sebright Arms on 27th October, as well as heading out as the support on La Roux’s upcoming tour next month. Check out all of Meanwhile’s live dates below, and have a listen to ‘All For The Taking’. It’s ruddy great.
