Listen: Meanwhile Streams New Track, ‘Bigger City’

Stepping a few steps aside from Prince’s shadow, the ultra-confident loopy pop of Meanwhile’s been given a second run. Following the magnified debut track ‘Luvletta’, the musician’s since signed a deal with Fiction/Universal, this ‘Bigger City’ song being his second showing to date.

Linking giddy synths with a shameless disco strut, this is a spandex-suited, funk-trotting reminder of the Londoner’s brilliantly screwed up take on things. He’s picked up an early admirer. La Roux’s Elly Jackson has invited him to join her on a November UK tour. Dates below the player.
