Mellah channels David Lynch in his new ‘Paseo’ video
The South Londoner’s new EP ‘Middle England’ is out in June.
Last week, South London’s Mellah announced details of his new EP ‘Middle England’, out in June via Columbia.
The announcement came alongside a new track called ‘Paseo’, and the track now has a new video.
The new clip feels pretty Lynchian, following the story of a housewife from a past era who takes in a rescue dog. It’s directed by Liam Ramsden himself.
Mellah is set to play a headline show at Peckham’s Liberal Club on 2nd May alongside a series of festivals including The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City and Bestival. ‘Middle England’ comes out via Columbia on 1st June.
Watch the ‘Paseo’ video below.
Mellah plays Liverpool Sound City (5th-6th May), The Great Escape (17th-19th May) and Bestival (2nd-5th August) where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
