Metronomy, Squid, The Murder Capital and more join Wide Awake lineup
The new London day festival gets some exciting new additions.
With already one of the best lineups of the year, brand new festival Wide Awake are once again showing why they’re the coolest new kids on the block.
Announcing their second wave of acts today, Metronomy, Black Country, New Road, Charlotte Adigery, Squid and The Murder Capital have joined the lineup, alongside A Certain Ratio, Automatic, BEAK>, Faux Ferocious, Identified Patient, Lazarus Kane, Marie Davidson, Manfredas b2b Ivan Smagghe, Pregoblin, and Shortparis.
“We’re ecstatic to be announcing the next wave of incredible artists that we have taken huge pleasure in supporting since their early days,” Festival Director Marcus Weedon says. “Wide Awake is set to not only provide the platform for brilliant new bands, but also to pay homage to the established bands who have also supported us as independent venues.”
Taking place on 5th June at Brockwell Park, check out the full lineup below and grab your ticket here now.
