MIA dismisses MTV VMAs nominations as “racism sexism classism elitism”
She was upset not to see ‘Borders’ amongst the nominees.

MIA isn’t too happy about being shunned in this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
After expecting to see her ‘Borders’ video amongst the nominees, she declared the awards to be built on “racism sexism classism elitism.”
“BORDERS came representing people outside US showing [world emoji]. This is a perfect example of “allowed” voice vs excluded voices,” she continued.
“#fucktheVMAs we don’t need their recognition !!”
