MIA working on new mixtape and short film

MIA has announced that she’s set to release a new mixtape and short film. She revealed the news on her Instagram account, sharing a screenshot of a press release that she apparently sent over to her label.
MIA says that the new mixtape will be 12 minutes long, made up of three new songs, and it’ll also be accompanied by a short film. In the release she described it as “a piece of work that has no boundaries and transitions,” and added that the whole new project is intended as “a journey around the planet.” Her full release is below.
Last month MIA also shared a new collaborative song, ‘The New International Sound (Part II),’ which she made with French techno project Gener8ion.
