Mica Levi is scoring new sci-fi film ‘Marjorie Prime’
The new movie stars Jon Hamm (swoon).
Not content with composing the score for ‘Jackie’ this year, Mica Levi has revealed that she’s soundtracked new sci-fi film ‘Marjorie Prime’.
Directed by Michael Almereyda and starring Geena Davis of ‘Thelma & Louise’ and Jon Hamm (be still our aching hearts), the new movie is a “dramedy” set in a near future where artificial intelligence is real. It follows an elderly woman whose new companion resembles her deceased husband and has been programmed to retell the story of her life back to her. Well that’s not creepy in the slightest.
The film is being premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, where one St. Vincent will also be premiering her score to Kristen Stewart’s debut short film ‘Come Swim.’ Mica’s soundtrack album for ‘Marjorie Prime’ will be released through Milan Records.
