Mica Levi has written the music for Dean Blunt’s new opera
‘Inna’ is being performed at London’s ICA later this month.

Mica Levi’s been pretty busy in the film world recently, soundtracking sci-fi flick ‘Marjorie Prime’, contributing to ‘The Unfilmables’ project and, of course, writing an Oscar-nominated score for ‘Jackie’.
Now though, she’s taken a step into the world of the stage, teaming up with British musician and conceptual artist Dean Blunt on his new opera. It’s set to be performed at London’s Institute for Contemporary Arts (ICA) on 27th and 28th October.
On their website a couple of lines are given as a background to the piece: “Cause anything’s possible, oh anything is possible”. Perhaps that means to expect the unexpected? Or perhaps it’s a hint towards the themes of the opera itself.
This year, Mica also teamed up with Mount Kimbie on their track ‘Marilyn’.
