Milk Teeth share ‘Nearby Catfight’ from new EP ‘Go Away’

The band’s second EP of the year is out in November.

Milk Teeth only released their new EP ‘Be Nice’ back in July, and there’s already another one on the way!

‘Go Away’ will be released on 17th November via Roadrunner, and the band have shared its first taster, new single ‘Nearby Catfight’.

“‘Go Away’ is faster, more frantic and much more tongue-in-cheek lyrically than ‘Be Nice’,” vocalist Becky Blomfield says. “The songs are reflective but with a fun spin on the subject matter. This EP is a representation of everything the band can do now and the broad spectrum of influences we put to use during the writing process.”

We recently spoke to the quartet about the ‘Be Nice’ EP and their upbringing in Stroud, joining them in their hometown.

“I think it keeps you down to earth, because it is more community-based,” Becky says of the band’s origins. “We’ve always said we’re not very cool. I like that. It’s so important to be yourself and to show people you don’t have to fit a certain image to do what we do.”

“Sometimes I see pictures of us together,” laughs Chris, “and we don’t even look like a band. It looks like we met at a bus stop.”
