My Brightest Diamond airs ‘Lover Killer’ track from new album

Shara Worden aka My Brightest Diamond has shared a new track from her forthcoming album ‘This Is My Hand’.

‘Lover Killer’ is a deceptive thing, in that it begins woozy and near-operatic, before bursting into life with booming horn sections and the odd slice of funk.

The new record was recorded in Berlin, Detroit, New York and LA - in a statement about the album, Worden says she was asking herself the question: “‘What is the value of music.’”

‘This Is My Hand’ is out 15th September on Asthmatic Kitty.
