Mykki Blanco announces new EP, ‘Postcards From Italia’
They’ve also shared details of European live dates for this autumn.
Mykki Blanco has today announced an upcoming EP, ‘Postcards From Italia’, which is slated for release on 22nd September via Transgressive. Exploring what Mykki terms their “Italian cowboy era”, the six-track project acts as the follow up to their 2022 album ‘Stay Close To Music’.
To coincide with the announcement, they’ve also shared the EP’s closing track, ‘Holidays In The Sun’, of which Mykki has said: “[it] was created funnily enough in a basement in Portugal on Christmas Eve. The song is a feel good summer anthem about lazy summer days swimming in the sea, hopping from one music festival to the next, feeling good about life and living la dolce vita soaking up the sun. The song is a summer rave bop with nods to 90s euro dance and acid house stretching itself, hitting every corner of the world from the beaches of Ibiza and Naples to warehouse parties in London and Berlin.”
