Nakhane shares the soft, intimate ‘Presbyteria’
It’s the second taster of new album ‘You Will Not Die’.

South African singer Nakhane made a stunning introduction last month with ‘Clairvoyant’, the first taster from his new album ‘You Will Not Die’.
It’s been followed up today by ‘Presbyteria’, which shows a significantly softer, more intimate side to the singer, whose album comes out on 16th March via BMG.
“When I was Christian and prayed to God everyday, I had only hatred for myself,” Nakhane says in a press release, of his upbringing in a strict Christian household in South Africa. “Every day of my life, I was doing all I possibly could to be like everyone else, to be heterosexual. I was even convinced I would be able to ‘heal’ my homosexuality. I was living in constant fear; controlling myself at all times.”
He’s set to play a London headline show on 20th March to celebrate the album’s release, at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen.
