A brand new Phoenix song is featured in an advert for Calvin Klein

Early in March, Phoenix shared a thirty-second snippet of new music in a nifty little trailer. After being announced for a bunch of European festivals and a show at London’s Ally Pally, it just suggested that new stuff from the French pop monsters was around the corner. Now they’ve shared another snippet of new music, in a bit of an unlikely place: an underwear advert for Calvin Klein. Okay, it gets a little bit more obvious when you learn that it’s been directed by Sofia Coppola (she is married to frontman Thomas Mars after all). The ad also features Rashida Jones and Kirsten Dunst among others, but more importantly it gives an insight into yet another slice of dreamy pop from the group.
