On 28th October, The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi releases his debut album with side-project CRX.
Last night, the band made their worldwide television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live, performing ‘Ways to Fake It’ from the ‘New Skin’ debut, which comes co-produced by Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme. Watch the performance below.
CRX consists of Valensi, The Dose’s Ralph Alexander on drums, Willowz guitarist Richie James Follin, plus Jon Safley and Darian Zahedi.
Earlier this week, in an interview with DIY, Valensi revealed that The Strokes were “slowly but surely” working on a new album. “I don’t know when it’s going to be released, we’re kind of just in writing sessions. We’re writing,” he said.
