Nile Rodgers and Chic join LIMF 2019
They’ll join the likes of De La Soul, Nao and Grace Carter at the event.
Nile Rodgers and Chic have been added to the line-up of this year’s Liverpool International Music Festival.
The legend will headline proceedings on the Saturday night, before Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge close the festival on the Sunday evening.
Speaking of his addition to the bill, Nile Rodgers has said: “Liverpool has been the site of some of my greatest moments as an artist from our triumphant concerts there, where we are made to feel like we are from Anfield or the Old Swan to being honoured by Sir Paul McCartney at LIPA. We cannot wait to be back to Merseyside not once, but twice this summer!”
Other acts set to perform at this year’s event include De La Soul, Nao, Yxng Bane, Grace Carter and Sigma.
LIMF 2019 takes place at the city’s Sefton Park on 20th and 21st July and tickets are on sale now.
