Of Mice & Men cancel European tour dates
Vocalist Austin Carlisle’s health issues won’t affect Reading & Leeds, though.
Of Mice & Men have been forced to cancel a string of European live appearances due to vocalist Austin Carlile’s ill health.
Posting a statement on Facebook earlier today, the band announced that they’d not be starting their dates this side of the Atlantic until 19th August in Berlin - cancelling slots at Pukkelpop in Belgium, plus German festivals Summer Breeze, Elbriot and X-Fest.
The band’s scheduled appearances at Reading & Leeds festivals are still set to go ahead.
“Due to Austin having unforeseen health issues,” they wrote, “we’re unfortunately not going to be able to play the first few festivals of our upcoming tour in Europe while he rests up. This will include our scheduled appearances at Summer Breeze today, Pukkelpop on Friday and Elb-Riot and X-Rockest this weekend. We apologize to our fans in Belgium and Germany who were attending these shows but we will be back soon to make up for this. We are going to be resuming our tour on August 19th in Berlin and all other upcoming shows including Reading and Leeds Festivals are unaffected.”
Of Mice & Men play The Pit stage on Saturday in Reading (23rd August) and Sunday (24th August) in Leeds.
