Oh Sees get animated in the new video for ‘Nite Expo’
Watch a knight hack and slash his way through a dungeon.
Oh Sees (formerly known as Thee Oh Sees) recently changed their name back to an earlier incarnation, OCS, as they gear up to release new album ‘Memory Of A Cut Off Head’ in November.
But for their new video for ‘Nite Expo’ they’ve gone back to the name Oh Sees? Why? Because it’s a track from their album ‘Orc’, which came out in August. Confused? Nobody blames you. Anyway, the new video has been directed by Alex Theodoropolous and it follows a slightly odd looking animated knight battling his way through all kinds of baddies in an increasingly psychedelic dungeon.
As reported by Stereogum, John Dwyer said: “Animation and role-playing games were a huge part of my youth, so I was really excited to work on this with Alex Theodoropulos and make a fun Halloween video that harkens back to the real simple times. Imagination running wild and no thoughts of a heavy world. So, for now, a momentary break and happy Halloween”. There you go then: Happy Halloween from Oh Sees. And OCS.
