Okay Kaya shares new track, ‘Clenched Teeth’

New York-based newcomer Okay Kaya has shared a new single titled ‘Clenched Teeth’.

Signed to XL Recordings imprint Hot Charity, the Norwegian-born artist shared her debut single, ‘Damn Gravity’ in March, following a debut mixtape of material posted on Soundcloud in late 2014.

Speaking to Dazed, Kaya said that new cut ‘Clenched Teeth’ is about “laying next to someone and drifting off into a lucid dream where they’re finally able to confess everything to you through clenched teeth.” ‘

Clenched Teeth’ has been shared alongside a new video directed by Supreme’s Ricky Saiz, and features Kaya walking through the streets of Tokyo. Listen and watch below.

Later this year, Okay Kaya is set to feature in the Jamie xx score for new ballet, ‘Tree of Codes’.
