Okkervil River Announce New Single, End Of The Road Appearance

Okkervil River have announced details of their forthcoming single, ‘Your Past Life As A Blast’.

‘Your Past Life As A Blast’ will be released as a 7” on Monday September 5th 2011.

Okkervil River released their sixth album ‘I Am Very Far’ through Jagjaguwar in May this year.

The band are currently preparing for a US tour with The Decemberists, their own US headline tour and a headline performance at this year’s End Of The Road Festival on 3rd September 2011.

The appearance on End Of The Road’s Garden Stage follows Will Sheff’s solo show at London’s St Pancras Church at the end of March and the band’s sold-out Heaven performance in May. More UK headline performances are expected to be announced shortly.
