James Marriot, Declan and the Decadent West and Nieve Ella have also joined the bill.
Soul-pop singer Olivia Dean has been announced as part of the final line-up for this year’s Liverpool Sound City Festival, which is taking place from 28th to 30th April.
Joining Olivia on the bill will be artists including the previously-announced Maisie Peters, Loyle Carner, Malady, and Swim Deep. Other new names confirmed today include James Marriot, Declan and the Decadent West, Nieve Ella, Lizzie Esau and Hannah Grae.
Friday 28th April will double as the festival’s ‘New Music Friday’, with artists performing across a host of venues around Liverpool city centre, while on 29th and 30th April, Sound City will take residence at its new home of Mountford Hall at the Liverpool Guild of Students, a five-minute walk from the city centre.
Founded in 2008, Sound City was named ‘Best Metropolitan Festival’ at the 2022 UK Festival Awards, and previous line-ups have offered early platforms for artists including Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Lizzo and The 1975. Sound City is also working this year with Keychange, the global network and movement working towards gender equality in the music industry.
Olivia Dean’s debut album ‘Messy’ is set to be released on 30th June on EMI Records, and she recently released her latest track, ‘Dive’.
