One Love Festival cancelled following Turkish unrest
Two Door Cinema Club and Django Django were set to play.

After the attempted military coup in Turkey on Friday (15th July), the continuing state of unrest has seen the cancellation of the One Love Festival in Istanbul.
The event, scheduled to take place tomorrow (17th July) at the Parkorman venue in Turkey’s capital, was set to host Two Door Cinema Club, Django Django, Balthazar and Ben Pearce among others.
The cancellation follows a series of cancellations in Nice, after the horrifying events in the south of France on Thursday evening. Rihanna’s performance in the city was cancelled, as was the Nice Jazz festival that was set to host Massive Attack.
Acknowledging the cancellation on Twitter, Two Door said: “Gutted we can’t play for you guys. Hope you understand that a large music festival in Istanbul just isn’t possible in the current climate.”
