Oscar Lang shares delicate new single ‘On God’

It comes ahead of his new album later this summer.

Dirty Hit signee Oscar Lang has released his latest single, the piano-led ‘On God’. The track is Oscar’s most vulnerable to date, exploring the experience of losing his mother as a child. “My mum committed suicide when I was seven years old and for years, I really didn’t think about it too much”, he shares. “Things like that, you don’t realise the severity of it and what it means to you, and I didn’t for ages. In the last year, it really has dawned on me how I really miss this side of my life that I wish I could have had, having a mum around”.

‘On God’ is the final taste of his new album, ‘Look Now’, following the release of previous tracks ‘A Song About Me’, ‘One Foot First’, and ‘Everything Unspoken’. ‘Look Now’ is scheduled for release on 21st July via Dirty Hit, and will feature a new collaboration with New Zealand songwriter Molly Payton.

Oscar will embark on a UK tour later this summer - check out the full list of dates below.
