It’s the title-track from Oscar Scheller’s forthcoming EP
Oscar has shared new song ‘Beautiful Words’. It’s the title-track of his forthcoming EP, due for release on 22nd June via Wichita.
Building on the lush textures of previous single ‘Daffodil Days’, ‘Beautiful Words’ is similarly loved-up, but far more decisive. “I won’t wait for you to say beautiful words to me,” sings Oscar Scheller over snared drums, and punchy bursts of synthesiser. His mind is made up, and even his melodies mean business.
On other related news, Oscar is playing DIY’s official stage at The Great Escape on Saturday 16th May. He’ll be playing The Arch alongside Spector, Menace Beach, and more. The previous day, Oscar plays DIY’s free seaside get-together, in Brighton on 15th May. Also on the line-up are The Magic Gang, Abattoir Blues, Manuka Honeys, and more.
