Ought share new track ‘Desire’
They describe the new track as “Sade meets Bruce Springsteen”.
With their new album ‘Room Outside The World’ due on 16th February via Merge, Ought have already delivered ‘These 3 Things’ and ‘Disgraced In America’.
Now they’ve shared new track ‘Desire’, which bassist Ben Stidworthy describes as “Sade meets Bruce Springsteen”. And it’s got a 70-piece vocal choir on it. Yep. It’s a pretty massive one, quite literally. It also shows a slightly more romantic side to the band that’s not heard all too often.
Ought are heading out on a UK tour in April, which will take them to Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham and London along the way. Tickets are on sale now.
