Out Now! The new July 2017 issue of DIY, feat. Haim, Declan McKenna, Grizzly Bear, Waxahatchee & More

DIY is free - pick up a copy in our usual, beloved UK stockists or read for free online.

It’s a Friday, a heatwave is in full swing, and in multiple parts of the UK it feels a bit like Los Angeles! Fitting, then, that California’s favourite sisters Haim grace the cover of the July 2017 issue of DIY, filling us in on everything from brand spanking new album ‘Something To Tell You’ (out “right now, right now”) to their adventures with the late Prince, Stevie Nicks, and Beyoncé.

Elsewhere in the July issue of DIY, we go bowling with Waxahatchee to dig into the story behind new album ‘Out In The Storm’, chat settling into a groove with Grizzly Bear, and head to deepest, greenest Gloucestershire to enjoy a cider with Stroud locals Milk Teeth. Declan McKenna, meanwhile, is just starting, and arrives with his debut album ‘What Do You Think About The Car?’, a record with bundles of energy.

In Neu, we talk to the superbly exciting newcomer Nilüfer Yanya, alongside the world-wise Lao Ra and punky, brilliant Ten Tonnes.

We also report back from a chaotic (but thankfully not very muddy!) Glastonbury, give verdicts on new records from Lorde, Declan McKenna and of course cover stars Haim, and dash the shop to catch sets at Primavera, Field Day and more.

Woah. Deep breath. All this and more is in the new issue of DIY, out right now. It’s available free via stockists across the UK, and readable online below. If you’d rather have a copy posted to you in person, you can do so (or subscribe!) just down there.
