Owen Pallett airs new short film for ‘In Conflict’ track
Canadian is set to play London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall next month.
Ahead of his short run of European shows in December, Owen Pallett is sharing a new video / short film for ‘In Conflict’, the title-track on his fourth album, out now on Domino.
His latest clip begins with a quote from 20th Century composer Ned Rarem. Following this, it details the rush of flings with Tennessee Williams, Leonard Bernstein and Noel Coward, according to Nowness.
Speaking about the song itself, Pallett says it’s “about men; the ghost of my father whispering to me about human desire, and it’s about this moment in your life when you start to recognize that your body is a series of apparatus and you start to covet the bodies of people younger than you.”
On 3rd December, Owen Pallett plays London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall. Foxes In Fiction is set to provide support.
