Pale Waves enlist The 1975’s Matty Healy for ‘Television Romance’ video

It features the band playing in what looks like yer nan’s house.

Manchester’s finest merchants of dark, glittery pop, Pale Waves unveiled their second single, ‘Television Romance’ back last month, as they prepared to take on Reading & Leeds (and conquer they did, read this).

They’ve now shared a video for the track - which will be released on 7” alongside previous effort ‘There’s A Honey’ - and they’ve enlisted their famous bestie.

Yes, Matty Healy of The 1975 is behind the director’s chair for this one, which features the band performing in a flat which looks like it belongs to yer nan’s. No, really. Trinkets and everything.

The band head out on tour next month, beginning at Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds, and including a night at London’s Camden Assembly. Black lipstick at the ready…
