Parkay Quarts announce EP, stream new track ‘Uncast Shadow of a Southern Myth’
They might’ve changed their name spelling, but if the first cut from forthcoming release ‘Content Nausea’ proves the New York band remain in blisteringly good form.
They’ve already released one album this year, ‘Sunbathing Animals’, and they’ve also half-changed their name from Parquet Courts to Parkay Quarts. Characteristically, though, the New York band aren’t done yet. Announcing new release ‘Comfort Nausea’, which they’ve dubbed “not an EP, not an EP, the band have also revealed a new track, ‘Uncast Shadow of a Southern Myth’.
Out digitally on 10th November via Rough Trade, ‘Comfort Nausea’ is set for release very soon indeed, but in the meantime press the play button below to have a listen to ‘Uncast Shadow of a Southern Myth’:
