Parquet Courts air new video for ‘Pretty Machines’
Song appears on the Parkay Quarts album, ‘Content Nausea’.
‘Pretty Machines’ is the bummed-out, no-bullshit centrepiece of last year’s curious Parkay Quarts album, recorded by Andrew Savage and Austin Brown of the Brooklyn band’s original Parquet Courts album.
Brown stars in a video for the track, which sees the guitarist washing dishes, brushing his teeth and getting used to dull suburban surroundings. He does this while wearing a fake moustache, it’s worth adding.
