Parquet Courts frontman Andrew Savage is releasing a solo album!
‘Thawing Dawn’ comes out on 13th October via Dull Tools under his A. Savage moniker (see what he did there?!). It’s set to feature a whole load of pals, including members of Woods, Ultimate Painting, PC Worship, EZTV, and Psychic TV.
The Texas-born New York-bred musician said of the new project in a press release: “Once I realized I had a small body of work that didn’t fit anywhere else, I started to examine the commonalities: What’s the common denominator of all this and how I can expand on it?”
A. Savage has also shared a first musical taster, ‘Winter in the South,’ along with announcing a tour.
