Parquet Courts announce UK and European tour and 7” releases

Brooklyn group are putting out two limited vinyl releases, hitting Europe after Reading & Leeds dates.

Parquet Courts have announced details of a new UK and European tour, as well as two 7” split releases.

A warm up show at London’s Birthdays precedes the Brooklyn group’s performance at Reading & Leeds festivals, before they take to the continent to perform in Germany, Italy and France.

They’re also putting out a cover of ‘Pretty Girls’ by Joey Pizza Slice (Son of Salami) on a split 7” released by Wharf Cat Records. Joey Pizza Slice has covered Parquet Courts’ ‘Picture of Health’, with their cover released as the A-side. Pre-orders are available now from Wharf Cat’s website.

Furthermore, Parquet Courts and Big Ups will release a split 7” via the project VERA/LIVE, and includes a live recording of ‘Descend’, taken from ‘Tally all The Things That You Broke’. The vinyl is limited to 300 copies and is a non-profit release to support the Groningen venue VERA. Pre-orders are available via this email.
