Parquet Courts take to the stage for their ‘Outside’ video

The clip features footage from a recent show at New York’s Knockdown Center.

About nine months on from the release of their last album, Parquet Courts have shared another ‘Human Performance’ with their video for ‘Outside’.

The sub-two minute clip condenses down footage from the band’s recent show at the Knockdown Center in New York, which drew more than 2000 fans. As well as a set from the band, it featured art, film, comedy and even more tunes from the likes of Lee Ranaldo, Guerilla Toss, and Joe Pera, as well as work from Eaters, Andrew Savage and Joey Pizza Slice (what a name!)

‘Outside’ attempts to capture the hustle and bustle of the evening into its tiny frame. With more than a few shots of a frenzied audience and a bit of crowd-surfing with trees, it’s possible to feel some of the raw energy generated.
