Parquet Courts share cover of Neil Young’s ‘We R In Control’

Parquet Courts have released a cover of the Neil Young song ‘We R In Control’.
The song, which is taken from Neil’s 1982 album ‘Trans’, has been released as part of an Amazon Music series. The band started recording their cover of the song during their sessions for their 2016 album ‘Human Performance’.
“I’m a big fan of whenever an artists does something different from what they’re known for,” the band’s Austin Brown said in a statement about covering the song. “I have a similar affection for Neil Young’s electronic record Trans. This is my favourite song off it.”
The band released their most recent album ‘Wide Awake’ back in May and released a video for ‘Freebird II’ back in August. They also released the three-track remix EP ‘Wide Awake Remixes’ this September.
