Patti Smith has just announced that she will release a brand new album this coming summer.
The record will be her eleventh studio album to date and the first showing of new material since 2004.
‘Banga’ will be released on the 5th of June, Smith’s second album to be put out on Columbia.
New single, the appropriately-timed track ‘April Fool’, which be released tomorrow (3rd April).
