Perfume Genius announces new album ‘No Shape’, shares ‘Slip Away’ video
The follow-up to 2014’s ‘Too Bright’ is out on 5th May via Matador.
After all manner of teases and leaks over the past month, Perfume Genius has officially, properly, really announced his return.
After a teaser on Twitter was Shazam-ed, it was revealed that the new album from Mike Hadreas would be called ‘No Shape’, and preceded by a single called ‘Choir’.
Half right, boys. ‘No Shape’ is indeed the name of the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Too Bright’, and it’s coming out on 5th May via Matador. The first single though, for which Hadreas has shared a new video today, is actually called ‘Slip Away’.
Perfume Genius has announced a US tour in May in support of ‘No Shape’, as well as performances at European festivals such as Way Out West, and a slot at this year’s End of the Road.
