PinkPantheress to be awarded Producer of the Year Award at BRITs 2026

With the BRIT Awards 2026 officially just a few days away, things are heating up! And ahead of the ceremony taking place this Saturday (28th February), another award winner has been revealed.

The incredible PinkPantheress has been announced as the recipient of this year’s Producer of the Year Award, making her the youngest producer ever to be given the title, and the first ever female winner. Previous winners include the likes of Fred Again.., A. G. Cook, Calvin Harris and Paul Epworth, among many others.

Speaking of receiving the award, PinkPantheress has said: “As the first woman to win this award, I’m grateful to be recognised. My music production is the thing I’m proudest of, and I’ve worked really hard at it, so I hope this inspires others to pursue their passion.”

The award comes off the back of her debut album ‘Heaven Knows’ landing back in 2023 while her mixtape ‘Fancy That’ was released last year, before being shortlisted as one of the 2025 Mercury Prize Albums of the Year. It was then followed with the remix EP ‘Fancy Some More?’ last October.

This year’s edition of the BRITs will take place at Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena this Saturday 28th February, and is one of the biggest nights in British music, honouring the artists and albums which have defined the past twelve months. Leading the charge with nominations this year are Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, Sam Fender, Lily Allen, and Dave, who are all nominated for both Album of the Year - the biggest prize of the night - and in their respective genre categories. (They also all feature on DIY’s 2025 Albums of the Year list, too - check that out here). To discover the full list of nominations, head here.

Performances on the night will come from the likes of Harry Styles, Wolf Alice, Olivia Dean, Mark Ronson among others. The ceremony will be broadcast ITV, STV, ITVX and STV Player on from 8.15pm on Saturday evening.
